Device Health: Battery & Info

Effective date: 23 September 2026

In short: Device Health works entirely offline. It does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. Everything it shows is read from your device and stays on your device.

Who we are

Device Health: Battery & Info (package com.device.batteryhealth) is developed by Pankaj Gurjar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

Information the app reads

To show you details about your phone, the app reads information directly from Android on your device, including:

This information is only displayed to you inside the app. It is not linked to your identity, and the app does not read personal content such as contacts, messages, photos, files, location, account details or your device serial number.

Information stored on your device

You can delete all of this data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.

No data collection or sharing

Permissions

The app uses only the following Android permissions, none of which requires you to grant anything at runtime:

Android backup

If you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may include the app's local data (the battery history and your appearance setting) in your personal device backup. That backup is managed by Google under your Google account and Google's Privacy Policy; we have no access to it. You can manage backups in your device's Settings.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app's handling of information changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
